Pam Cabanas


Born - 1952 Brooklyn, New York

I hold a BFA from The New York State College of Ceramics, Alfred University, Alfred, New York, and a MA in Art Education from The University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I have worked as a production potter a teacher, nursery school thru the university level, Over the years my entrepreneurial spirit has led me to open antiques store, furniture design, toy design, and most successfully into Cabanas Decorative Arts, a company designing and executing faux finishes for design, construction, and architectural firms.

I have live in Bayville, Alfred, Angelica, and Friendship, New York, Missouri, Albuquerque, and Santa Fe, New Mexico, Puerto Rico, again in New York, and now Friendship, Maine. I have been married, a single mom, a sole proprietor, loved, hurt and battered about. Currently, I am pursuing peace and maturity as a pastel artist and gallery owner here in the beautiful State of Maine.
